How to Use Bus Planner Web

  1. Log in to BusPlanner Web Professional.
  2. Enter your school’s user name and password previously supplied to you. If you are unable to access your school’s information, contact your area transportation planner to reset your password.

Address Eligibility – allows you to enter an address and grade and check student’s busing eligibility and identify the home school for their address..

Student Search – lets you select individual or groups of students, such as all special education students. For example: Toggle the “spec ed” box to view a list of these students, from which you can choose to see transportation details. At the end of the list, click the “transportation details” box to view the selected students’ transportation information.

Reports – Reports listing transported students and their bus route # for yard duty staff or classrooms can be found under the Student Section of the Reports

Note: Reports can be saved as Excel files and filtered, PDFs, or viewed on screen.

STSWR has been supplied with a school e-mail or conference in order to set up an account for your school. If you forget your password and request a reset from your area transportation planner, you must then share the password with those coworkers requiring access.

Student Listing

This report generates a listing of transported students and shows their AM and PM bus route numbers. For student listings containing route information sorted by name:

  • Choose Professional Login
  • Enter your school’s user name and password
  • Choose Student Transportation Listing
  • Choose Show to view the report or save to an excel or PDF document

In the example above, you will note that it is sorted by homeroom (small blue up arrow to the right of Home Room Column). We recommend selecting the box “Include Effective and Retire Dates”.

Note: The first two students lack a homeroom, likely due to no longer being active, but this update hasn’t been reflected in STSWR, so they remain assigned to a bus.

It may also be because the student is a pre-reg student in BusPlanner, and your transportation planner couldn’t find a homeroom in Aspen when manually entering them.

Inform your transportation planner if you find students with retired enrollment on the bus list so they can remove them.
