Welcome parents! We are ready to work with you to make your child’s commute to school a positive experience that contributes to his or her educational journey, whether you reside in a walking area or a bused area. Find out more about our website and communication tools so you can become more comfortable with your child’s transportation, know where to get information about delays and cancellations, and understand how to best connect with us regarding your concerns.
JK & SK Transportation Information
JK students receive their Ontario Education Number (OEN) from the Ontario Ministry of Education 15 days after their first day of attendance. As the OEN is used to log into BusPlanner to obtain transportation information, families of JK and SK students will not be able to access that information at the beginning of their school year.
Instead, during the last week of August, STSWR sends out a letter directly to families of JK and SK students, detailing their child’s September transportation information.
If you do not receive your letter at least two business days before school starts, please call us for assistance.

Parent Portal
The Parent Portal shows the busing details for any student in our system. The transportation details are posted for the school year in the third week of August. Any changes throughout the year can be found here. There is a section in the Parent Portal that allows you to subscribe to your students transportation routes (Subscription Service). By using this method, changes will automatically update when a route changes. Below are the instructions for the Parent Portal on the STSWR website. As part of the instructions there is video tutorial that goes through the steps for logging into the Parent Portal.

Subscription Service
The subscription service allows users to receive delays and cancellations to their email address or via SMS text. The subscription service allows you to receive an e-mail or text for all delays over 10 minutes and all cancellations that effect your bus route or school. An e-mail will be sent to your address, or a text to your phone number, as the delay or cancellation is posted to our STSWR website. The wait time on the e-mail depends on your e-mail server’s speed (how fast it gets to Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc). Wait time on SMS text is determined by the volume of texts being sent. For the best results, text messaging provides the fastest response time. Add your phone number under My Information, SMS.
Sign up for the subscription service or get detailed instructions on how to subscribe to all the features.
