Bike to School Week is all about the joy of riding a bike!
Jun 1-5, 2026
Feel the wind in your hair and the freedom of two wheels! Bike to School Week inspires students to try riding a bike to school for the first time, to learn new skills, or to just have fun, explore, and connect with people, the community, and nature.
You can win!
STSWR joins the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo, and the Region of Waterloo, to encourage more students to participate by sponsoring a host of prizes. This year, there are 30 $25 gift cards to Dairy Queen and 10 active transportation prize packages filled with goodies from the partnership.
School participation
Schools are urged to help get the word out to students, and when they do, they have a chance to win a $250 Canadian Tire gift card. They can use the resources below, along with the poster above, to boost their events and messaging.
