STSWR Trailblazers

Trailblazers are confident student leaders who wear safety vests, follow preferred walking routes, and help promote active travel through school events, assemblies, and announcements.

CAA School Safety Patrol Program

• Bus Patrol – Bus Patrollers help bus drivers transport student passengers to and from school in a safe and orderly manner, all while setting a proper example for students to follow.
• Standing Foot Patrol – Foot Patrollers monitor school crossings by ensuring students cross roads near their school in a safe and responsible manner. Unlike Adult Crossing Guards, Patrollers do not stop or direct traffic.

Mentor Support

Mentors are key to the success of both the CAA School Safety Patrol and STSWR Trailblazer programs. From training and regular check-ins to motivation and recognition, mentors help students grow as leaders while promoting safety in their school communities.
