Decline or Reinstate Student Transportation Procedures for Schools

• During the month of August, all kindergartens that are assigned to the bus for September will receive an email or mail-out from STSWR
• The email/mail-out indicates busing information including a reminder to use the digital Decline or Reinstate Transportation form if busing is not required
  • At any point in the school year, if a student does not need transportation please direct parents to fill out the digital Decline or Reinstate Transportation form
  • Change the student’s mode of transportation in Aspen to:
    • WCDSB
      • Decline Trans, or
      • AM Only for Morning transportation, or
      • PM Only for Afternoon transportation
    • WRDSB
      • Bus Not Riding, or
      • AM Only for Morning transportation, or
      • PM Only for Afternoon transportation
        

Your area transportation planner will automatically receive the completed digital Do Not Ride/Return to Busing form, set up and forward transportation details to the school or remove the requested busing.

Please note: Parents who complete the form and then later wish to place their child back on the bus, must complete the same digital form again. The students mode of transportation will need to changed to ‘Bus-Eligible‘ in Aspen. Please notify the parent when the child has been placed back on the bus, as long as the student is still eligible.
