This form is NOT registration for transportation. This form is only for students who are eligible for transportation. If you are unsure whether your student qualifies, you can check eligibility here: ‘Can I Ride a Bus?‘

Students who are eligible for busing are automatically assigned transportation based on the home address listed in their school record. For any updates to student information, including address changes, please contact your student’s school directly.

If your student is eligible for busing but does not require transportation, please complete the form below. This helps STSWR plan more accurately for September and throughout the school year and eliminate the chance of your student(s) being sent home on a school bus by mistake.

You can opt out of morning service, afternoon service, or both. When submitted, this digital form notifies your student’s school, the bus driver, and STSWR.

You may opt back in at any time using the same form, as long as your student remains eligible under school board policy.

I understand that this form is not a registration form and is only to be used for students who are currently eligible for transportation. If I wish to resume transportation in the future, I will need to submit this form again, and my student must continue to meet eligibility requirements. I acknowledge that this opt-out will remain in effect until a new form is submitted.

I confirm that my student is eligible for transportation and hereby direct the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) or the Waterloo Catholic School Board (WCDSB), and Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region Inc. (STSWR), to make the requested changes to my student’s transportation.
