Hello ROLL Models! STSWR’s monthly spotlight celebrating the incredible bus drivers who go above and beyond every day!
These drivers make a difference in students’ lives by bringing positivity, care, and dedication to their routes. Each month, we will highlight drivers who have been nominated for the impact they make in our community.
Follow along as we share their stories, their favourite moments, and why students, families, and co-workers appreciate them so much.
Do you know a bus driver who goes the extra mile? Here’s how you can nominate them:
- Contact your bus company that is listed in your Parent Portal at www.stswr.ca (Sharp, Voyago, Campeau or Elliott)
- Give the bus company your route number, school, your drivers name (if you know it), and why your driver deserves to be nominated!

Meet Baljit!
“What I enjoy most about being a bus driver is the connection I get to make with people every day. Whether it’s greeting students in the morning, helping them start their day with a smile, or working with parents, school staff, and community members, I appreciate being part of something bigger than myself. Building positive relationships and creating a welcoming environment on my bus is very rewarding.“
We would also like to recognize our other October 2026 Role Models:
Lesley L. and Maria F.
A sincere THANK YOU to all of our Roll Models for the incredible impact they make!
