About The School Bus
- The school bus brings you to school in the morning and back to your designated stop in the afternoon.
- Your designated stop will be the same every day, as will the pickup and drop off time. If there is a change, you will be informed.
- Be at your stop 5 minutes early every day.
- In the afternoon, your bus will drop you at your designated bus stop close to your home (usually same location as morning). You may need to have a parent or caregiver meet you for the first few days to become familiar with the surroundings.
Before and After Your Bus Ride
- The red flashing lights on the top and stop sign on side of the bus are signals that the bus is coming to a complete stop to pick up or drop off students.
- If you need to cross the road, wait for the bus drivers signal and always cross in front of the bus.
Rules when on the Bus
- Line up and enter the bus in single file.
- Take a seat promptly and stay seated until the bus comes to a complete stop at your school or afternoon bus stop.
- Do not place anything in the aisle. Hold books, lunch boxes and other items on your lap.
- Always keep arms and head inside the bus.
Enjoy the Bus Ride! The Bus is a Safe Place!
