Statement

STSWR is responsible for coordinating home to school transportation based on the student’s primary address as supplied to their Board-designated school.

A student can only have one primary address. A secondary address can be identified at the school level, but it is not automatically eligible for transportation.

Change of address must be done through the school, as STSWR cannot accept change of address information directly from parents/guardians.

Procedure

STSWR will receive student record changes from the School Board via an electronic format.

These files are automatically uploaded into the planning software.

Transportation arrangements will be determined once the updated information has been received from the school.
